The Fitness Team within the Duke Recreation and Physical Education department is looking for knowledgeable, energetic, and comprehensive certified Pilates Reformer Instructors. All Private Pilates instructors are required to hold a current comprehensive Pilates Instructor Certification from a respected and validated certifying organization. Current CPR and First Aid Certifications are Also Required. Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Comprehensive Pilates Instructor Certification from a respected and validated certifying organization.
- Current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers certification (or ability to obtain within first 30-days).
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours.
- Two or more years of experience working in private 1 on 1 or small group settings teaching Reformer Pilates.
- Experience working with a variety of ages, wellness goals and physical conditions in a private Pilates Reformer setting.
- Mat Pilates certification and/or teaching experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Current Comprehensive Pilates Reformer Instructor Certification.
