Duke Cancer Network is seeking a community Hematology?Oncology physician to practice across two campus locations in Johnston County, supporting a robust Comprehensive Community Cancer Center with a convenient commute from Raleigh and service to the rapidly growing Triangle region.
This role offers the opportunity to build a general Hematology-Oncology practice while pursuing a clinical area of special interest, supported by a well-resourced, multidisciplinary team. Physicians typically see 12-15 patients per day. The center is adjacent to a medical facility and includes on-site pharmacy and laboratory services, with dedicated support from a social worker, patient navigator, and dietitian.
You will collaborate closely with Duke Health colleagues through tumor boards and clinical trials. The care team includes community-based and rotating Duke oncologists and APPs. Inpatient consult coverage and evening/night and weekend on-call responsibilities are shared among site-specific Hematology/Oncology physicians through an assigned rotation.
