We are seeking a highly skilled Suspension / Alignment Specialist to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, Lift Kits and maintaining vehicle suspension and alignment systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers by accurately assessing vehicle conditions, performing precise alignments, and executing necessary repairs with efficiency and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive suspension diagnostics, including inspecting shocks, struts, springs, control arms, ball joints, and related components.
- Conduct wheel alignments using advanced alignment equipment to manufacturer specifications.
- Repair or replace suspension parts such as shocks, struts, bushings, and other related components.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex suspension and steering issues effectively.
- Diagnose and repair wheel bearing issues, axle problems, and other drivetrain concerns impacting vehicle handling.
- Conduct tire services including balancing, rotation, and replacement to maintain optimal tire health.
- Collaborate with the team to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, and general vehicle inspections.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete repairs with precision.
- Interpret automotive electrical systems and mechanical schematics for accurate diagnostics.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines while providing excellent customer service throughout the repair process.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or equivalent in automotive repair with a focus on suspension and alignment services.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics tools, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Hands-on experience repairing diesel engines, transmissions, powertrain systems, and automotive electrical systems.
- Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration procedures is a plus.
- Skilled in using welding equipment for structural repairs when necessary.
- Mechanical knowledge of auto body repair techniques is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with auto estimating experience are preferred.
