General Description Of Responsibilities

- Cleans grease, dirt, dried concrete, old paint, and rust from equipment, using solvents, water, rags, brushes, pneumatic wire brush, and chipping hammer. Wears appropriate PPE
- Cleans and prepares surface for painting, using high pressure equipment.
- Monitors supply inventory, maintains and/or informs supervisor of re-order needs.
- Maintains all wash bay equipment in conjunction to manufacturers suggested best practices to keep in good working condition. Wears appropriate PPE.
- Maintains yard area, keeping it clean and organized
- Conditions employee may be exposed to include but are not limited to noise, tripping hazards, fall hazards, various chemicals such as battery acid, grease, oils, Natural De-greaser, etc. Wears appropriate PPE.
- Hot, humid or cold climates. Wears appropriate PPE.
- Working on, around or underneath large equipment that requires squatting, kneeling, crawling, standing, etc. for extended periods of time. Wears appropriate PPE.
- Requires lifting of product, tools, etc. occasionally weighing up to 70lbs. Wears appropriate PPE and uses proper lifting techniques or gets help on larger tasks.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Familiar with using and operating air tools and hand tools.
- Is willing to apply themselves towards learning other job opportunities.
- Is a team player, pitches in wherever is needed to get job done.
- Performs other duties as required.
