Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead system-wide management of manufacturer backorders, demand planning, and supply forecasting.
- Provide strategic oversight and direct supervision of Product Analysts across all Duke Health entities.
- Establish a standardized approach to inventory management, eliminating silos and driving consistent practices.
- Partner with the Business Office to resolve blocked invoices and streamline financial reconciliation processes.
- Develop and implement data-driven decision-making frameworks for inventory planning and operational efficiency.
- Create and monitor performance metrics to ensure accountability, accuracy, and efficiency in supply chain operations.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to minimize disruptions and improve service levels.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to ensure inventory management supports patient care needs.
- Provide regular reporting and communication to executive leadership on key supply chain performance indicators.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare supply chain, inventory management is required.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing system-level initiatives is strongly preferred.
- Strong background in forecasting demand planning, and financial process alignment.
