Duke Capital Ventures is currently seeking a Property Accountant to support its growing portfolio of projects across the Western United States. They will be responsible for overseeing key accounting functions, including financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning related to the firm’s real estate investments.
Role Description
The Property Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Mountain View, CA. This position is responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements for assigned properties, including processing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating monthly financial reports. Additional responsibilities include budgeting, financial forecasting, monitoring property-level expenses, and supporting the team with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Statements preparation and Financial Reporting
- Experience with Journal Entries and general Accounting practices
- Strong understanding of Finance and financial management processes
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in real estate accounting or property management is a plus
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel is preferred
