About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our growing team in New York. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and deliver innovative solutions that drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into technical requirements.
Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flow diagrams.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
Coordinate with development and QA teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate delivered solutions.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for business stakeholders.
Support change management, training, and implementation activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and SDLC.
Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Familiarity with SQL for basic data analysis is preferred.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Experience creating process maps and workflow diagrams.
Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
