Job Description
We’re seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead and execute all maintenance operations in our prototype manufacturing facility. This individual will take ownership of equipment reliability, preventive maintenance programs, and work order management — ensuring the facility runs safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
This position blends technical expertise with leadership — ideal for someone who enjoys being both on the floor and in control of maintenance planning and priorities.
Experience with hydraulic press repair and rebuilds is a major plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform maintenance on prototype and production equipment including hydraulic presses, weld systems, and CNC machinery.
- Lead troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Plan, schedule, and enforce a robust Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to maximize uptime.
- Ensure all work orders are completed accurately, documented, and closed out promptly.
- Prioritize maintenance activities based on production schedules and critical equipment needs.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and manage vendor relationships.
- Supervise maintenance staff and ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to drive equipment reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications
- 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or prototype environment.
- Strong working knowledge of hydraulic presses, pneumatics, and industrial systems.
- Proven ability to implement and manage PM programs and maintain accurate work order records.
- Skilled at setting priorities and managing maintenance workflow.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, and automated equipment a plus.
- Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to lift, climb ladders, and work safely around heavy machinery.
Schedule
