Exciting Opportunity for a Project Engineer in Concrete Construction
We are growing in the Columbus, OH area and have an excellent opportunity for a Construction Project Engineer to join our Concrete Structures team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting project execution from start to finish, ensuring documentation, coordination, and quality control processes are maintained at the highest level. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers and field teams with a strong emphasis on self-perform concrete operations.

Your Responsibilities In This Role

Your Responsibilities In This Role
- Maintain and distribute contract documents, addenda, field orders, RFIs, and RFPs
- Review and control shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with contract specifications
- Lead project quality control processes including inspections, testing protocols, and deviation tracking
- Coordinate RFIs among architects, engineers, owners, contractors, and subcontractors
- Assist in assembling proposals and preparing owner change order requests, including pricing for self-performed work
- Maintain accurate “As-Built” drawings and support project close-out documentation
- Secure operations manuals, warranties, and guarantees; assist in final project close-out activities
- Support Project Managers and field teams in daily project coordination and communication
- 1–3 years of relevant construction experience; concrete construction experience highly preferred
- BS degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Understanding of construction industry practices, standards, and safety protocols
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and industry software such as Bluebeam
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
