Job Description: Sheetrock Handler
Location: Destrehan "Alpha Warehouse", LA, 70047
This is not a Driver Position
Job Responsibilities:
- Accompany drivers on deliveries to job sites.
- Assist in setting up sheetrock on the truck (e.g., strapping down the load, ensuring the truck is safe, clean, and road-ready).
- Set up a laydown area at the job site (house or business) to stage sheetrock in a safe, dry, and flat location.
- Carry sheetrock from the boom truck/tandem into customer houses or businesses without causing damage.
- Perform warehouse work when necessary.
- Handle other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs regularly.
- Looking for a reliable team member who will report to work regularly & on-time.
- Some warehouse experience is a plus.
