Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Manual Machinist role located in Winstead CT. The Manual Machinist will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and accurately setting up manual machining equipment to produce precision components and parts. Key day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools for specific jobs, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and conducting inspections to maintain part compliance. Regular maintenance of equipment and troubleshooting issues will also be part of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong manual machining skills, including operating mills, lathes, and grinders
- Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and measurement tools
- Experience with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
