Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engines.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems with precision.
- Execute wheel alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and other precision services to ensure vehicle safety standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs effectively.
- Follow dealership procedures for vehicle maintenance, service estimates, and repair documentation to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs.
- Knowledge of ADAS calibration, schematics reading, and electrical systems troubleshooting.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures across various makes and models.
- Hands-on experience with auto estimating software and service technician workflows.
- Skilled in working on GM vehicles or similar brands; familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Proficiency with wheel alignment equipment, power tools, welding techniques, and automotive electrical systems.
