Position Overview

• Under limited supervision responsible for applying sound practices for physical inventory and quality control for the management of government property and fleet activities in compliance with procedures to support the DUF6 conversion project. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities that assist and support the organization in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned:

Functional:

• Supports monitoring of property database and tracking property inventory
• Assists in conducting organizational physical inventories
• Aids in the preparation, maintenance, and analysis of periodic measurement and other reports
• Helps maintain physical inventory and quality control
• Interfaces with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and other governmental agencies with respect to property and fleet management
• Interfaces with site personnel and DOE on property management audits
• Interfaces with appropriate personnel/management to resolve systems and operations issues
• Assists in providing technical assistance and expertise as requested by site personnel/management
• Aids in the investigation of issues and concerns with processes and proposes improvements to procedures

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
