PROJECT SUPPORT MANAGEMENT - X340

Position Overview

• Under minimal supervision responsible for managing all facets of the organization's Earned Value Management System (EVMS) including planning, scheduling, and cost control of all project activities to support the DUF6 conversion project. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities that assist and support the organization in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned:

Functional:

• Oversees the development of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and EVMS documentation
• Manages the project controls staff
• Directs the necessary training to senior management, cost account managers (CAMs), and project controls staff on the EVMS
• Develops the basis of estimates and general approach for the project baseline
• Implements the Risk Management Plan and facilitates the risk management reviews required to develop and update the project risk register
• Establishes policies and procedures regarding the EVMS and ensures proper implementation
• Issues EVMS reports to the organization and to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)
• Manages the project baseline schedule
• Develops contract change proposals for additional work scope as requested by DOE
• Implements baseline changes in accordance with organizational policies and procedures
• Supports the roles and responsibilities of the CAMs
• Identifies and implements corrective actions (CAs) regarding budget and schedule performance
• Provides the framework for maintaining the project estimate-at-completion (EAC) current and relevant

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business or related field or equivalent
• 20 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
