Job Summary
Looking to hire one or two experienced part-time volume bartenders at Dudley’s. We are hoping for friendly welcoming energy to everyone walking in building. Candidates should be respectful and engaging to people in LGBTQ community, not seeing folks as a novelty but as people, as individuals. The job includes happy hours, as well as working nights. Schedules come out in month brackets. We’re here to be LGBTQ people’s momentary weekly vacation from the world that isn't always the kindest. Volume of tips made vary depending on happy hour, to evenings. If you can build your business on your happy hour, they can become quite lucrative. Drag shows and dance parties and camaraderie. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Manage cash handling procedures accurately, including processing payments and keeping track of tabs.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and making recommendations.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies at front bar, restocking from back stock as necessary.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the F&B industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation, as well as POS system usage.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must possess strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
