Job Summary
Join our team as an Air Duct Cleaning Helper, where you will play a vital role in ensuring clean, safe, and efficient air duct systems for our clients. No prior experience is necessary—we will provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills needed to excel. As a helper, you will assist experienced technicians in performing industrial and commercial duct cleaning tasks, contributing to healthier indoor environments and building your career in the cleaning industry.
Duties
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of cleaning equipment and tools for duct cleaning projects
- Support technicians in manual handling of air ducts, filters, and debris removal using hand tools and industrial cleaning equipment
- Operate pressure washers and other cleaning machinery under supervision to thoroughly clean duct systems
- Use ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas during outdoor or indoor cleaning tasks
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, goggles, and fire extinguishers
- Conduct outdoor work activities involving heavy lifting, manual handling, and equipment transportation across job sites
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use
- Support the team in adhering to safety procedures including fire safety measures and proper use of fire extinguishers
Skills
- Ability to safely operate ladders and handle heavy lifting with proper manual handling techniques
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and use of various cleaning equipment including pressure washers and industrial vacuums
- Familiarity with hand tools used in commercial and industrial cleaning environments
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and awareness of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
- Outdoor work experience preferred, with the ability to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate professionally with clients when needed
- Willingness to learn new skills related to duct cleaning, floor buffing, and fire safety procedures
