Duct Dusters LLC is a locally owned and family-operated air duct and dryer vent cleaning company serving Central Illinois. We’ve been voted Best of Springfield five years running and Best of Bloomington 2025.
We are growing quickly and building a structured, high-performance team. We’re looking for a strong leader to help manage daily operations and support multiple field crews.
Position Overview
The Field Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, managing crews, and driving efficiency and performance.
This is a hands-on leadership role — you will be actively involved in day-to-day operations, not sitting behind a desk.
You will play a key role in helping the company scale while maintaining high standards of quality and customer experience.
ResponsibilitiesField Operations
- Oversee daily schedules and routing
- Ensure crews start on time and stay on pace
- Monitor job progress throughout the day
- Solve real-time issues quickly and effectively
Team Leadership
- Manage and support multiple field crews
- Hold team members accountable for:
- Efficiency
- Quality of work
- Professionalism in customers’ homes
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training
- Perform ride-alongs and job site checks
Performance & Metrics
- Track daily production:
- Jobs completed
- Revenue per day
- Crew efficiency
- Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions
- Help drive performance to company targets
Customer Experience
- Handle escalations or customer concerns
- Ensure strong communication between crews and homeowners
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and trust
Process Improvement
- Improve scheduling, communication, and workflow systems
- Work with ownership to build scalable operations
- Support growth as new crews are added
What Success Looks Like
- Crews consistently completing 4–6 jobs per day
- Jobs running on time with minimal delays
- Strong team accountability and culture
- High customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Increased revenue without sacrificing quality
QualificationsRequired
- 3 years of leadership or operations experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple crews and moving parts
- Problem-solver with a sense of urgency
Preferred
- Experience in home service industries (HVAC, plumbing, cleaning, etc.)
- Experience managing field teams
- Familiarity with scheduling or CRM systems

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
