Ducklings Early Learning Center is currently looking for a creative and caring Assistant Teacher to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and participate in a variety of learning environments and activities that provide opportunities for students to develop to their fullest potential and achieve their learning objectives.
Maintain a healthy and safe environment.
Communicate positively with students, parents and staff.
Safely lift a child or children with a total weight of 40 pounds.
Conduct activities involving substantial standing, walking and moderate sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, crawling, twisting, and reaching on a frequent basis.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Assistant Teacher Applicants: Need at least a high school diploma
Previous experience as an Early Childhood Education Teacher in a licensed preschool or early development center.
Able to furnish required clearances.
Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Sense of humor encouraged.
