POSITION PROFILE
Performs a variety of administrative, marketing, and public relations duties as needed to promote and develop tourism in Duchesne County.
GOALS
- Cooperate with businesses, educational institutions, community organizations, and government to provide information to local businesses.
- Promote and market Duchesne County to increase business and leisure travel.
- Create marketing pieces that entice travelers to Duchesne County.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides audio, visual, and information technology support.
- Assists and supports the executive director in executing the Tourism and Convention Bureau priorities and marketing goals.
- Attends various events and activities, providing video and photography coverage to be used in future advertising campaigns for Duchesne County.
- Create flyers, posters, and brochures and edit pictures and videos to enhance Duchesne County's image.
- Provide visitor support services at the Duchesne Welcome Center through oversight and staffing.
- Work closely with private industry partners in Duchesne County to promote destination resorts, lodging, and restaurants.
- Works with county event organizers to provide support, promotion, and organizational support for events that attract out-of-town attendees.
- Provides logistical support for film crews, travel writers, and bloggers.... prioritizing content.
- Provide staffing for the use of the Crossroads Senior Center for meetings, conferences, private invitation-only events, and community activities.
- Moving furniture, table set up, tears down and clean up required.
- Some evening and Saturday shifts are required.
- Other duties as assigned.
