Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals following established recipes and menu specifications
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all stages of food handling and preparation
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting creative ideas and ensuring ingredient availability
- Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation to minimize waste and maintain freshness
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service times and ensure timely delivery of orders
- Clean workstations, utensils, appliances, and kitchen areas regularly to uphold cleanliness standards in accordance with health regulations
Skills
