A bit about the position -
Do you enjoy a fast-paced environment? If so, this might be the right fit for you! We are looking for motivated, determined and innovative employees to join our team. This position involves performing all the functions necessary to support our production department. No experience necessary - we have you covered with paid training!
The Digital Print Operator (DPO) position will be located in the Digital Print department. The DPO will be responsible for printing designs on apparel by carefully putting the garments on the machine to receive the correct design, with the correct placement and location on the garment. This task requires the garment to be placed accurately every time and at a productive pace based on minimum average expectation per hour.
What you will do (responsibilities) -
- Scan the design into the printer
- Ensure all steps of the process are in place
- Arrange garments according to how they will be embellished
- Ensure correct logo locations are indicated on garments
- Remove the garment from the machine when complete
- Place garment on the dryer belt
- Watch for quality issues & correct when they don't meet standards
- Scan order after printing is complete
What you need (requirements) -
- Ability to speak rudimentary English
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to detect slight differences in colors
- Eager to learn new tasks
- Self-motivated
- Attention to detail
- Hand/eye coordination
- Ability to stand on your feet for the entire shift
- Demonstrated ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Perform assigned tasks in an environment with high volume production noises
- Proficiently and efficiently perform all tasks/functions as trained
