Role Description
We are hiring a full-time, in-office, Marketing & Operations Associate to support the execution of day-to-day initiatives across marketing, product, and operations.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is ready to step into a dynamic environment and take ownership. You will work closely with our founder and leadership team to bring ideas to life, often taking concepts from early-stage strategy to near-complete execution before final review.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to understand how a modern consumer brand operates and is willing to do whatever it takes to help the business grow. The ideal candidate is someone who does not run from tasks outside of their comfort zone, wants to learn, is an executor, and finds a way to get things done independently. dubose is searching for a long-term employee who can grow with the business.
Responsibilities will vary week to week, but may include:
- Execute marketing strategies across channels including paid media, affiliate marketing, influencer gifting, and new customer acquisition initiatives.
- Assist in analyzing paid ad performance and identifying optimization opportunities.
- Support social media execution (content coordination, organization, and production assistance)
- Research, identify, and help launch new marketing channels and campaigns
- Assist in planning and executing product launches and pre-launch campaigns
- Conduct market research and consumer perception studies
- Handle operational tasks such as preparing product samples, organizing materials, and supporting logistics
- Keep projects organized, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met
- Step into any area of the business as needed to support team priorities
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to present ideas and campaign updates to internal stakeholders.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze customer and competitor data, and translate insights into actionable marketing recommendations.
- Foundational sales and marketing skills, with an understanding of customer journeys, brand positioning, and revenue-driving initiatives.
- Project management abilities to coordinate multiple tasks, manage timelines, and collaborate effectively across teams and external partners.
- Relevant experience or interest in skincare, beauty, or consumer products is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with basic marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media, email marketing, analytics dashboards) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Problem-solver mindset with a “find a way or make a way” mentality.
- Familiar with Canva Pro.
- Ability to work on-site in the Charleston, South Carolina Metropolitan Area and adapt in a fast-paced, growing brand environment.
