Overview
We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals for the position of Day Labor Floor Care.
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping and mopping
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all assigned areas
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
- Follow established safety protocols and environmental guidelines during all cleaning activities
Qualifications
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, carpet cleaning, and floor stripping is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Reliable transportation may be necessary depending on work location
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and walking throughout large facilities
