About the Role:
As an Activity Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Coordinating and leading group activities, such as exercise classes, crafts, and games

Assisting with special events and celebrations, including birthday parties, holiday events, and social gatherings
Collaborating with other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to resident care and services
Maintaining accurate records of activities and participation levels
Communicating effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure a positive and inclusive environment
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., recreation therapy, gerontology) a plus
Previous experience in a senior care or community-based organization preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service and resident satisfaction
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and participate in physical activities as needed
