Dublin Community Preschool & Childcare Center – Dublin, NH

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate will support the Lead/Associate Teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for young children.

This is a part-time position, Monday-Friday, 2-5 PM.

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Teacher, you will:

• Support the planning and implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with the NH Early Learning Standards.
• Provide opportunities for children to engage in both structured and unstructured play, indoors and outdoors.
• Encourage active and quiet activities, as well as individual and group experiences (both child-initiated and teacher-guided).
• Assist in maintaining consistent daily routines and support children as needed throughout transitions.
• Foster warm, nurturing, and cheerful relationships with all children.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with families.
• Collaborate positively with all staff members, specialists, and administrators.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Sign in and out daily and follow all center policies and procedures.
• Voluntarily assist with special events and fundraisers when possible.
• Arrange a substitute if absent, in accordance with center policy.

Qualifications

• Must meet all NH State Licensing Requirements for an Assistant Teacher.
• Knowledge of NH Child Care Licensing Rules and the NH Early Learning Standards.
• Current Infant/Child CPR & First Aid Certification preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise tact and discretion.
• Positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.

Compensation

• $14.00 – $16.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
