Warehouse Associate/Driver (Plainfield, Indiana)

The primary job duties include but are not limited to, proficiency with all warehouse activities and experience in the following areas:

• Knowledge of electrical parts, hardware and components is preferred, but not required 
• Stocking parts accurately and efficiently
• Understanding and familiarity with a wide range of tools
• Gathering tools, equipment, and materials in warehouse, supply houses, or construction sites
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Work well with other co-workers by being a team player
• Must be timely and work with a sense of urgency
• Organization of equipment and materials
• Inspection and field audits of tool and equipment condition
• Tracking tools and equipment using computer software
• General cleaning/maintenance of warehouse and shop areas including: gathering trash, sweeping floors, stock fridge
• Forklift safety awareness (forklift training preferred, can be provided if necessary)
• General safety training in a warehouse environment
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Delivery of tools, equipment, and materials via Pickup Truck, 16’ Box Truck, or dually with 16’ Trailer utilized as required
• Clean driving record with valid Driver's License
  

Duties and Expectations: 

• Standard working hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm, with optional overtime on occasion
• Must perform tasks such as: standing for long periods of time, lifting and carrying (up to 50lbs) on your own, reaching, crouching, and bending, among other physical essential job functions
• Ability to multitask and ability to change course to accommodate urgent requests from the field

Experience:

• 2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred
• Must be able to back up trailer into tight spaces
• Class C CDL or higher preferred but not required
  

Education:

• High school or equivalent
