Dubak Electrical Group is growing and is in search of an experienced Traveling Electrical Superintendent. This role is responsible for the overall on-site supervision, coordination, and successful execution of assigned industrial electrical construction projects. The Electrical Superintendent ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with established quality standards, company procedures, and client expectations.
The Superintendent provides leadership and direction to General Foremen, Foremen, Journeyman Electricians, and Apprentices, while serving as the primary on-site representative for Dubak Electrical Group.
Internal Reporting:
Reports to the Operations Manager and/or Senior Project Management.
External Reporting:
Effectively interacts with owners, clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, trade contractors, vendors, and others associated with project-related activities. Depending on project size and complexity, the Superintendent may have 5–50 direct and indirect reports.
Position Summary / Primary Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in an industrial electrical environment and demonstrated success overseeing large-scale electrical construction projects. Primary job expectations include, but are not limited to:
- Plans, schedules, coordinates, and directs all field construction activities in alignment with project documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Establishes project execution plans, manpower loading, and performance goals to ensure efficient use of labor and resources.
- Ensures work is performed in compliance with OSHA regulations, Dubak Electrical safety policies, and all client site-specific safety requirements. Conducts or oversees Daily Safety Huddles and audits jobsite safety practices.
- Maintains overall responsibility for the safety of all Dubak Electrical personnel on assigned projects.
- Promotes a positive, productive, and accountable team environment; resolves project-related and personnel-related conflicts as they arise.
- Coordinates installation methods between civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to prevent interference and rework.
- Provides technical leadership and guidance to General Foremen and Foremen, including interpretation of drawings, constructability reviews, and resolution of field issues.
- Monitors project progress, productivity, and quality; takes corrective action when necessary to maintain schedule and budget.
- Oversees project close-out activities, including punch lists, documentation, and turnover to the client.
- Maintains strong working relationships with clients and project stakeholders, ensuring confidence in Dubak Electrical’s scope, execution, and performance.
Primary Skill Expectations:
- Oversees multiple crews of Journeyman Electricians and Apprentices across one or more project areas
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of industrial electrical systems, installations, and means & methods
- Working knowledge of conduit systems, cable tray systems, grounding systems, and control/distribution equipment
- Understands and verifies proper installation of electrical systems including transformers, motors, switchgear, MCCs, over-current protection, and parallel circuits
- Ability to review, interpret, and validate electrical drawings, specifications, and installation standards
- Ensures electrical installations meet NEC, local codes, project specifications, and quality expectations
- Supports troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning activities as required
- Comfortable working in industrial environments and at various heights, up to 90’, as necessary

- Proven ability to manage large electrical craft labor teams and multiple layers of supervision
- Lead by example with professionalism, accountability, and safety-first mindset

- Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as project demands require
- High regard for personal safety and the safety of others
- Ability to perform site visits wearing required PPE (protective clothing, safety glasses/goggles, steel-toed boots, etc.)
- Willing to travel to client projects throughout the United States on a regular basis
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
Experience:
- Industrial Electrical Superintendent: 5 years (Preferred)
- Previous leadership experience overseeing large industrial electrical projects required
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Additional trade, technical, or leadership training a plus
