Position Overview
The Recruiter at Auben Realty is responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing top talent across all markets and departments. This role plays a critical part in scaling the organization by ensuring every hire aligns with Auben’s mission of improving people, property, and places and embodies the company’s core values.
This individual will operate with urgency, ownership, and a solutions-oriented mindset, building strong pipelines of high-quality candidates while serving as a cultural ambassador for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Pipeline Development
- Proactively source, recruit, and hire high-performing candidates across brokerage, property management, operations, and corporate functions
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through outbound sourcing, networking, referrals, and events
- Develop creative recruiting strategies to attract both active and passive candidates
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, success profiles, and long-term team needs
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination
- Conduct structured interviews focused on both competency and cultural alignment
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality candidate experience from first touch through hire
Culture & Brand Representation
- Serve as a steward of Auben’s culture, ensuring all hires align with core values and team-first mentality
- Clearly communicate Auben’s mission and growth trajectory to candidates
- Position Auben as an employer of choice in each market
Process Optimization & Execution
- Track recruiting metrics including pipeline health, time-to-fill, and quality of hire
- Continuously improve recruiting systems, workflows, and candidate experience
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in recruiting systems
Market Engagement
- Build relationships within local communities, universities, and professional networks
- Represent Auben at career fairs, industry events, and networking opportunities
- Actively engage passive talent through ongoing outreach and relationship building
