About the Role
We're looking for a part-time attorney to join Dualboot Partners and help review commercial documents — including client contracts, statements/scopes of work, non-disclosure agreements and data processing agreements. The role will also provide general litigation support to outside counsel on an as-needed basis. This role sits at the intersection of legal support and business operations: you'll work closely with our in-house attorney, business directors, product directors and leadership team.

What You'll Work On
- Reviewing commercial documents, including client contracts, scopes of work, non-disclosure agreements and data processing agreements
- Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents
- Learning to spot and flag risk issues in contracts
- Managing document version control, redlines, and signature workflows
- Tracking deadlines
- Conducting legal research to support drafting of both internal and external documents
- Communicating directly with clients and vendors
- Experience in a tech company or sales organization is preferred
What We're Looking For
- Admission to the bar of any state of the U.S.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience
- Clear, proactive written communicator
- Capable to navigate complex legal conversations with clients
- Strong with Microsoft Office or G Suite — especially Word, where track changes and formatting fluency are important skills for this position — and legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis)
- Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight after training
- Willing to flex on hours occasionally to meet deadlines
- We are investing in training this person and are seeking someone looking for a long-term role not a short-term assignment
- Software industry experience preferred
Role Details
- Ad hoc projects to start but expecting 10-20 hours in short order
- Fully remote
- Hourly pay, commensurate with experience
