Overview

Dual Legacy Capital (DLC) is a small, privately held investment firm run by its sole owner, Dom. We're not a big corporate office with a org chart and a dress code — we're a lean, fast-moving operation where the work is interesting, the environment is relaxed, and the people actually like being there.

This isn't a "sit at a reception desk and answer phones" kind of role. It's more like: Dom's life runs smoother because you exist. Some days that looks like researching a vendor, booking travel, and managing his calendar before lunch. Other days it's picking up dry cleaning, coordinating a dinner reservation, and helping him prep for a client meeting. You'll wear a lot of hats — and you'll genuinely enjoy it if you like variety and hate being bored.


What You'll Actually Be Doing

The personal side of this role is real and substantial. Dom is a busy person with a full life outside the office, and part of your job is making sure that life runs as smoothly as his business does. That means personal errands, travel coordination, scheduling across both his professional and personal calendar, and being the kind of person he can trust with the logistical details of his day-to-day so he can focus on what he does best.


On the business side, you'll support Dom with scheduling, correspondence, document prep, and keeping things organized across deals, meetings, and ongoing projects. DLC works in the investment space, so some exposure to financial concepts is a plus — but we'll teach you what you need to know. What we can't teach is being proactive, trustworthy, and easy to work with.

This role will evolve with you. If you're sharp and you show initiative, there's room to grow into more responsibility over time.


What We're Looking For

You're organized in a way that feels natural, not forced. You're the person who already has the itinerary ready before anyone thought to ask. You handle confidential information like a professional without being reminded to. You communicate clearly, you follow through, and you don't need your hand held.

You're also just a good hang. DLC is a small team and the day-to-day vibe matters. We want someone who's genuinely positive, can laugh at the chaos when things get weird, and shows up ready to solve problems rather than list them.


Practical skills we care about: strong with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, comfortable with calendaring tools, capable of organizing travel and logistics from scratch. Experience as a personal or executive assistant is a plus. Being the kind of person who quietly makes everything work — that's the real requirement.


The Details

This is a paid, in-person position based (although there will be flexibility to be remote when not needed in-person) out of Dom's house. If this sounds like your kind of role, we'd love to hear from you. $85,000 per year.


Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars, schedule appointments, meetings, and events using tools such as Microsoft Outlook Calendar and Google Workspace.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and preparing detailed itineraries.
  • Handle correspondence via email, phone calls, and other communication channels with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
  • Assist with event planning for personal and professional functions, including venue selection, vendor communication, logistics coordination, and on-site management.
  • Perform administrative duties such as data entry, filing, document proofreading, transcription, and maintaining organized records using Microsoft Office and DocuSign.
  • Provide project coordination support by tracking deadlines, coordinating schedules, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while delivering exceptional customer service in all interactions.
  • Run personal errands on Dom's behalf — from pickups and drop-offs to sourcing hard-to-find items — so his day keeps moving without interruption.
  • Manage personal scheduling including appointments, family commitments, and social engagements alongside professional calendar obligations.
  • Research and book restaurants, experiences, gifts, and services for personal occasions with attention to Dom's preferences and standards.
  • Coordinate personal travel logistics including family trips — handling flights, hotels, ground transportation, and activity planning from start to finish.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for personal vendors, service providers, and contractors, managing communications and follow-through so Dom doesn't have to track it.
  • Assist with personal household needs as they arise — whether that's coordinating a home service appointment or handling a time-sensitive task that falls outside the 9-to-5.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant with strong office management skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace applications, and data entry tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong typing skills along with transcription and proofreading capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
  • Knowledge of event planning principles and project coordination methodologies.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining a positive attitude.
