We are looking for a friendly and dependable Preschool Teacher Assistant to support the lead teacher in providing a safe, caring, and educational environment for preschool-aged children. The assistant will help with classroom activities, supervision, and daily routines.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher with classroom instruction and activities
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
- Support children with daily routines, meals, and restroom breaks
- Prepare classroom materials and learning centers
- Encourage positive behavior and social interaction
- Help monitor student progress and participation
- Follow school policies and safety procedures
- Communicate professionally with staff and families
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with children preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be dependable, patient, and energetic
