Core Responsibilities
- Safe Neighborhood Exercise: Conduct structured, energetic walks for dogs of all breeds and sizes, strictly following safety protocols and specific client guidelines.
- Comprehensive Pet Care: Deliver exceptional care during home visits, including setting up feeding schedules, refreshing water, clearing waste, and administering medications as directed.
- Real-Time Client Updates: Use our dedicated mobile app to seamlessly log visit details, capture high-quality photos, and send reassurance updates to pet parents.
- Home & Pet Security: Ensure client residences remain safe and secure during visits while maintaining a clean, stress-free environment for the animals.
Candidate Requirements
- Age & Experience: Must be 18 years of age or older with a proven, verifiable track record of caring for animals (either through professional roles, volunteering, or dedicated personal pet ownership).
- Reliable Transportation: Must possess a valid driver’s license and have daily access to a reliable, insured personal vehicle to travel between client homes.
- Smartphone & Technology: Must own a modern smartphone with a reliable data plan to manage real-time scheduling, GPS tracking, and app-based reporting.
- Physical Stamina: Comfortably able to handle strong or energetic dogs and walk several miles a day outdoors in various Texas weather conditions.
- Professional Standards: Exceptional punctuality, strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and a proactive attitude toward pet safety.
- Background Check: Must be willing to undergo and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background screening.
