System Technician responsibilities include:
- Assist with level 1 technical support
- Installing and configuring software, hardware and networks
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
- Work with end users to resolve technical issues and compliance issues
Job Brief
We are looking for a System Technician to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, and hardware across all clients. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of clients and end users. Your goal will be to ensure that our customers technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure software and hardware
- Manage network servers and technology tools
- Set up accounts and workstations
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Monitor back logs
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
Requirements
- 0-2 years’ experience as a systems technician is required
- Experience with troubleshooting computer issues, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
