Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of living spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high hygiene standards
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care
- Maintain floors through proper care techniques like carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and stain removal to ensure a polished appearance
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally
- Manage sanitation procedures in kitchens and bathrooms, ensuring all areas meet health regulations
- Assist with janitorial tasks including trash removal, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment
- Support housekeeping management by following established protocols and reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping roles
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and laundry handling
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery
- Experience with janitorial supplies management and basic maintenance procedures is preferred
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is a plus but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings as needed
