Job Title: Level 1 IT Support Technician (Bilingual: Japanese/English)
Location: Remote (4 days/week) Onsite in NYC (1 day/week)
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Eastern Time)

DTS America's Client (Hereafter called "CLIENT") striveto provide the best solution to our customer's problems by utilizing our knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft (Office) 365, Azure solution implementation. We are currently seeking a bilingual Level 1 IT Support Technician to join our team and provide technical assistance to our users in both English and Japanese.

Job Summary

As a Level 1 IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to end-users, resolving basic IT issues, and escalating more complex problems to higher-level support teams. This role requires strong communication skills in both Japanese and English, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT problems or escalate as needed.
  • Perform onsite support in the NYC office once a week.
  • Document issues and resolutions accurately in the support system.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support (Level 1).
  • Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • No formal degree required; relevant experience is sufficient.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking concepts.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, etc.).
  • Customer service mindset and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
