ob Description:
The Business Development & Product Lead for Renewable Energy will drive the growth of DTN’s Weather & Environmental Solutions in the renewable energy sector, principally solar. This role combines market development, strategic partnerships, and product strategy, ensuring that DTN’s environmental monitoring solutions meet the evolving needs of renewable energy developers, operators, and service providers. The position acts as a bridge between the market, the sales organization, and the product/engineering teams, identifying opportunities, defining product requirements, and supporting the commercialization of new solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development
Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for renewable energy solutions (solar, wind, hybrid assets).
Identify and develop relationships with: solar EPCs SCADA companies asset owners/operators engineering consultancies wind farm developers
Lead sales in strategic opportunities and key accounts.
Product Strategy
Define product requirements and roadmap for renewable energy solutions.
Translate market needs into product specifications and business cases.
Work closely with engineering teams to develop solutions such as: IEC-compliant solar weather stations soiling monitoring systems cloud-based environmental data analytics wind resource assessment systems LiDAR-based wind monitoring
Strategic Partnerships
Build and manage technology partnerships with key manufacturers and solution providers.
Identify opportunities for OEM agreements and integrations.
Commercialization
Support proposal development for major projects.
Contribute to pricing strategy and commercial offering.
Participate in industry events and conferences to position DTN as a leader in renewable energy environmental monitoring.

Profile
Experience
7 years experience min in: renewable energy utility scale solar power plant monitoring
Industry Knowledge & Network
Good understanding of the renewable energy ecosystem and stakeholder landscape, including experience interacting with or working alongside:
EPC contractors involved in solar and wind project development
Operations & Maintenance (O&M) service providers
SCADA and plant monitoring system providers
Engineering and technical consulting firms supporting renewable energy projects
Established ability to build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders across the renewable energy value chain.

Compensation:
The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between €42,487- €56,650 annually. DTN is a pay-for-performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
