- Greet prospective residents warmly, providing detailed property tours and highlighting key features to generate interest and secure leases
- Manage leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Process rental applications accurately using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite, ensuring all data entry is precise and compliant with Fair Housing regulations
- Review lease agreements, negotiate terms, and prepare contracts in accordance with legal standards including landlord-tenant law and Section 8 guidelines
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, maintaining leasing files, and updating resident records in property management systems
- Support property maintenance coordination by communicating resident requests effectively and tracking work orders through CMMS or facilities management tools
- Uphold compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations and other affordable housing programs while promoting fair housing practices
- Previous experience in property management, leasing, or real estate administrative roles is highly desirable
- Strong customer service background with excellent phone etiquette and conflict management skills
- Familiarity with Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software for leasing and data entry tasks
- Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing programs, and LIHTC compliance
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate lease terms effectively while maintaining positive relationships with prospective residents
- Office experience including filing, contracts management, and general administrative support
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
