Reports to: Driver Lead

As a Tractor Driver on the DTG Recycle Team, you will be part of a community of valued employees who work together and create an environment that is welcoming, caring and trusting. • Must be able to operate trucks in residential, commercial, DTG recycling yards and on construction sites as well as public roadways including highways and interstates.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Communicate with dispatcher throughout the day.
• Log and track loads in our system with provided tablets.
• Keep accurate records and slips of loads each day.
• Responsible for keeping the equipment and tractor in safe working order.
• Comfortable putting chains on tires as needed/required.
• Willingness to work outside under all types of weather conditions.
• Must be able to work overtime, including some Saturdays.

• CDL Class A Certification.
• Current Medical Card.
• Must have a clean driving record and background.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

• Cleaning potential road hazards (e.g. debris, rocks, mud, dirt, sand, gravel, plastic, roofing, etc.) off of can slides, rails and doors as well as track bumpers, truck fenders, truck wheels and truck frame rails.
• Cleaning of potential road hazards on trucks will need to be cleaned off prior to leaving job site or yard.
• Climbing attached metal fabricated ladder on the front right of the can to inspect the interior of the can for non-approved materials, persons or animals inside.
