Heavy Equipment Operator - Laborer
This position is 80% Laborer work and 20% in Front End Loader operating
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs inspections at the beginning and end of the shift.
- Operating front end loader safely and proficiently.
- Performing light maintenance on equipment.
- Identify unacceptable material on incoming loads.
- Communicate efficiently and effectively with truck drivers and customers on where to offload incoming material.
- Assist customers when needed.
- Assist co-workers with heavy items.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness of the facility and general housekeeping.
- Weed whacking.
- Shovel work.
- Availability to work occasional Saturdays.
- Other job duties will be added as needed.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with operating front end loaders
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, etc. for extended periods of time.
- Working outside under all types of weather conditions.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 7am to 3pm
