Technical Support Specialist

About the Role

DTF Station is hiring a Technical Support Specialist to be the first person our customers and dealers reach when something on their equipment is not working.

This is a desk-based support role. You will work support tickets through Discord, phone, and email, diagnose issues on DTF printers, shakers and curing equipment, heat presses, and cutters, and walk customers through the fix step by step. When a problem needs hands-on work, you will identify the parts involved and hand it off to our on-site technicians.

The job is on-site in Garden Grove, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm with a one hour unpaid lunch. There is no regular travel. The only exception is our two trade shows a year, where support staff sometimes help at the booth.

You do not need printing industry experience. You do need to be technically curious, comfortable diagnosing a machine you cannot physically touch, and able to stay patient and clear with a customer who is having a bad day.

What You Will Do

• Answer and resolve customer and dealer support tickets in Discord, by phone, and by email.
• Diagnose equipment and print quality issues remotely and guide customers through the fix.
• Identify replacement parts and warranty items, and hand off to the team that processes those orders.
• Escalate to our on-site technicians when a problem needs a visit.
• Keep clear, accurate records of every ticket and how it was resolved.
• Build product knowledge across our full equipment line over time.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong troubleshooting instincts and the patience to work a problem methodically.
• Clear written and verbal communication, since most of this job is explaining technical steps to non-technical people.
• Comfortable working in ticketing tools, Discord, spreadsheets, and web-based software.
• Good organization and the discipline to document as you go.
• Willingness to learn technical products and internal processes.
• Reliable attendance and follow-through.

Preferred Experience

• 1 to 3 years in technical support, help desk, field service, equipment repair, or a similar hands-on technical role.
• Experience supporting customers by phone, chat, or a ticketing system.
• Familiarity with printers, CNC machines, or other production equipment.

Printing or DTF experience is a plus, not a requirement. Product training is provided.

Compensation and Schedule

$55,000 to $62,000 per year, depending on experience. Full-time, salaried, and overtime eligible. Paid time off and eight paid holidays.
