Hybrid Role: This role is hybrid, with an established schedule of in-person work required at an assigned work location. Any remote work is expected to be performed from an employee’s primary residence, unless allowed (or prohibited) through the Company’s remote work guidelines.

Emergency Response: Yes – Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE’s emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers.

Job Summary

Provides analytical, budget, process, and systems support for work unit. Ability to work independently and identify appropriate course of action to analyze issues, recommend solutions, and administer programs. Manages or coordinates various administrative programs. Performs analysis, research, and studies and prepares various reports.

Key Accountabilities

• Develops project plans, identifies resources, and ensures tasks are performed to meet deadlines.
• Independently identifies and resolves problems.
• Plans and leads major projects, conducts meetings, and may informally leads other employees.
• Performs investigations and analyses, utilizing operating system tools for statistical, trend, and/or root cause analysis, etc.
• Prepares and presents findings and recommendations to management.
  
  

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years' experience in an analytical role

• Bachelors degree
• Demonstrated ability to develop, track, analyze, and report key performance metrics and operational scorecard results
• Strong capability to analyze data from multiple sources, build high-quality reports, and deliver optimal recommendations/solutions
• Proven experience analyzing financial and budget data (e.g., O&M/Capital buckets, spend trends) to support business decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication / advocacy skills, including the ability to present results to senior leadership
• Strong consulting and influencing skills with ability to build partnerships, drive alignment, and support adoption of initiatives
• Ability to facilitate and lead meetings effectively and manage the meeting process to achieve clear outcomes
• Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles with demonstrated ability to apply CI to optimize processes and deliver measurable results
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Power BI (dashboards/reporting)
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and execution skills, including managing multiple tasks/projects (often high visibility) with teamwork
• Preferred exposure to operational tools such as Maximo (workflows, work order tracking, service requests), VTS, ETS, P6, SQL-based reporting
  
  

Other Requirements

• Intermediate to advanced analytical and project management skills
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to develop/coordinate crossfunctional work groups and projects, yielding optimal results
• Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with people at all levels both within and outside the company
• Working knowledge of the various DTE systems (i.e CSB, Maximo)
