- DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Support cross‑functional strategic sourcing initiatives in partnership with Finance, Legal, Third‑Party Risk, HR, IT, Procurement Operations, and business stakeholders.
- Assist in developing and executing sourcing strategies for assigned Non‑IT and Professional Services categories that align with business objectives, cost targets, and enterprise risk and control expectations.
- Support the end‑to‑end strategic sourcing lifecycle, including RFX development, supplier evaluations, commercial negotiations, contract execution, and transition to downstream procurement operations.
- Assist in proactively managing contract renewals and expirations, identifying savings opportunities, optimizing commercial terms, and mitigating business or operational disruption.
- Analyze spend, contract, and supplier performance data to help identify cost savings, quality improvements, and process efficiencies.
- Research and conduct market intelligence, benchmarking, and category research to inform sourcing strategies and negotiation approaches.
- Support discussions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, contract terms, and risk protections in alignment with DTCC’s commercial and risk appetite.
- Embed risk, compliance, and control considerations into sourcing and supplier management activities, escalating issues appropriately and partnering with control functions as needed.
- Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Talents Needed for Success:
- Approximately 6 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management within a large, complex, or global organization.
- Demonstrated experience supporting RFXs and negotiations across Non‑IT and Professional Services categories such as professional services, HR/benefits, marketing and events, training, market data, real estate, workplace services, or outsourced services.
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple sourcing initiatives and stakeholder relationships concurrently.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience leveraging spend, contract, and performance data to develop sourcing strategies and business cases.
- Ability to operate effectively in a highly regulated environment with strong attention to risk, controls, and governance.
