Job Overview
We are seeking an dependable Soy Operator to assist with the safe and efficient production of soy-based products. Responsibilities may include operating production equipment, monitoring the manufacturing process. completing quality checks, maintaining a clean work area, and following all food-safety and workplace-safety procedures
Responsibilities
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and safely work around soy, a major food allergen.
- Work effectively as part of a team in a high-temperature environment.
- Read, understand and extract vital information from detailed batch records in written and electronic formats.
- Prepare, clean, and operate equipment and perform minor repairs.
- Follow SOPs for cleaning, packaging, and material inspections.
- Maintain dependable and regular attendance.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Able to work in a fast paced food production environment.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
Previous manufacturing, production, or general labor experience is preferred:however, we are willing to train dependable and motivated candidates who are new to manufacturing.
