Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of routine to highly complex lab tests, including hematology, chemistry, blood banking, microbiology, urinalysis, and more
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high-complexity laboratory equipment
- Perform phlebotomy on patients across all age groups
- Ensure quality control and compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, and JCAHO standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient results and equipment maintenance
- Assist in emergency situations as needed (BLS certification required)
- ASCP (or equivalent) certification required
- At least 12 months of hospital laboratory experience within the last 3 years
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with laboratory information systems and electronic medical records
- Ability to work rotating shifts and float across lab departments as needed
- Must pass a federal background check
- Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity working with Native American populations
- Weekly gross pay: $2,800–$2,900
- One-time travel allowance: $500
