Senior Cloud Backend Engineer | San Jose | $225K–$250K Bonus Equity
We're hiring a Senior Cloud Backend Engineer for a $125M funded AI cybersecurity company, with founders who have previous successful exits in the space.
What you'll do:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native backend systems and data pipelines
- Lead technical delivery from architecture and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and operations
- Partner with product and design teams to deliver performant, reliable backend services and APIs
- Champion best practices across CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and test automation
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability of backend and cloud systems
- Foster a culture of ownership, learning, and continuous improvement
What we're looking for:
- Deep experience in Python and AWS or Azure
- Strong background in distributed systems, cloud architecture, and scalable API design
- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a passion for solving complex problems
- Experience leading technical delivery across the full software lifecycle
Salary : $225,000 - $250,000
