Summary
The Ocean Export Senior Team Lead will oversee and manage a team of Ocean Export coordinators and ensure that all Ocean Export shipments are handled in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations. The individual will also be responsible for coordinating with clients, carriers, and customs officials to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Summary

Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of Ocean Export coordinators and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Coordinate with clients, carriers, and customs officials to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate and complete records of all Ocean Export shipments
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws governing Ocean Export shipments
- Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders
- Provide regular reports on team performance and identify areas for improvement
- Participate in training and development programs to ensure that team members are up-to-date on industry developments and regulatory changes
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
- 5 years of experience in Ocean Export operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of Ocean Export regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong leadership and team management skills
Supervisory Responsibilities (if Any)
- Manage and supervise a team of Ocean Export coordinators
- Certification in Ocean Export operations (e.g., IATA)
- Experience with Ocean Export operations in multiple regions (e.g., Asia, Europe, Americas)
- Familiarity with customs regulations and procedures in multiple countries
- Experience with implementing process improvements and driving efficiency gains
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with logistics software and systems (e.g., TMS, WMS)
