POSITION SUMMARY
The HR Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to the human resource department. The individual in this role may be involvedin:recruitment, payrolladministrationand any other area of human resources.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides support for the recruiting process (e.g., schedule interviews, sending background checks, attending job fairs/recruitment events as needed, drugtestsand contacting select candidates).

Coordinates the new hire orientation process (e.g., scheduling the orientation, preparing orientation paperwork, and creating the employee files), including I-9 completion/compliance.

Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legalrequirements.

Provides supportonauditing,reviewand processingthe paperworkand forms.
-
Participates in special projects and initiatives, to include engagement, jobfairsand HR Assessments.

Mustmaintainconfidentiality and perform all dutiesin accordance withcompany policies and procedures.

SupportscompanyOpen Enrollment period to ensure smooth processing.

Supports Payroll processing.

Other Duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education& Experience

Highschool diploma or GEDrequired.

1 year of Human Resources/payroll/clerical experience preferred.

Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate
