Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including dispatching and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Monitor and optimize warehouse operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage fleet operations, including scheduling maintenance and ensuring timely transportation of goods.
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and manage freight effectively.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff to enhance performance and productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to align warehouse operations with overall business objectives.
Experience
- 5 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role within the logistics or supply chain industry.
- SAP Experience
- Strong knowledge of dispatching, inventory management, fleet management, and process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems and best practices in freight handling.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
