dSPACE Inc. is seeking a motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team. This position is ideal for an early-career professional who is looking to join a growing global organization.
The Financial Analyst will support the Controller in financial reporting, business analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision support. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FO) is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
- Develop recurring and ad hoc financial analyses to support business decisions.
- Partner with department managers to understand business drivers and provide financial insights.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, inventory, and operational performance trends.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities by working closely with the accounting team.
- Assist with developing and maintaining financial models and reporting tools.
- Create dashboards and reports using ERP and business intelligence systems.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives.
- Help maintain data integrity and reporting accuracy within Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Support internal and external audit requests as needed.
- Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives assigned by the Controller.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree: Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial reporting, or related finance functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis functions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to work effectively across departments and build strong business relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FO).
- Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Manufacturing, engineering, or technology industry experience.
