Assistant CCTV Installer / Junior IP Camera Technician

Overview

Join our team at DSP Video Systems as an Assistant CCTV Installer / Junior IP Camera Technician supporting installations primarily in HOA communities across Miami-Dade and Broward County.

This is a field-based position ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in CCTV systems who want to grow into a full technician role within the electronic security industry.

You will assist experienced technicians installing, configuring, and troubleshooting IP surveillance camera systems and basic access control devices.

Duties

Assist with installation of CCTV and IP camera systems

Run and terminate CAT6 network cabling

Support configuration of surveillance cameras and recording systems

Assist with installation of RFID access control readers

Diagnose and troubleshoot basic CCTV and IP camera issues

Use hand tools and power tools safely on job sites

Work professionally in HOA communities and residential environments

Maintain installation quality standards and organized cabling practices

Experience

Minimum 3 years of CCTV installation experience preferred

Experience running and terminating CAT6 cable required

Basic understanding of IP cameras and PoE switches

Valid driver’s license required

Own basic installation tools required

Reliable transportation required

Spanish required

Clean background check required

Comfortable working on ladders

Experience working in HOA communities or residential associations is a plus
